JAYS d-JAYS

JAYS’ technology is based on Henry Egerton’s balanced armature patent from 1918, now redesigned and improved to suit consumer earphones. The coil and armature act as an electromagnet and an alternating current in the coil causes the polarity of the armature to switch back and forth.

The free end of the armature bends slightly up and down as it is attracted alternately to the top and bottom magnets. The diaphragm is pulled along by the drive rod and pumps air in and out of the speaker and the mechanical motion is converted into sound. This construction allows a precise modification of the armature, yet keeping the mechanical parts extremely small. Science generated sound.

d-JAYS combine Swedish design and patented in-ear technology for a perfectly balanced sound, with detailed highs, natural mids and extended bass. This without compromising on functionality, look and feel. So don’t get stuck with those mediocre earphones bundled with your player – Get the right sound!

Smart earphone design and a sleeve, available in four sizes, enables the earphone to fit snugly in any ear. The sleeves are washable and allow you to keep them clean at all times.

d-JAYS cord can be adjusted both in length and with different input connectors. d-JAYS come standard with a 0.6m (~24inch) long cable and a 0.9m (~35inch) extension cord, both with a straight 3.5mm (1.8 in) stereo connector. In addition to this there is also a cable with a L-shaped 3.5mm (1.8 in) stereo connector available for purchase as an accessory.
